Runners and Triathletes:

The running and triathlon season is in full swing!  Check out all the great events listed below including the new Old Glory Run in Cold Spring.

Tri Minnesota Triathlon Series:  The first event of the Triathlon season was held May 3 in Alexandria under cold conditions.  Jennifer Lenarz of Apple Valley and Joe Schneiderhan of Alexandria came out ahead at the Chain of Lakes Sprint Triathlon and took the early lead in the Tri MN Points Standings.  You can still sign up for the next event in the series, Land Between the Lakes Tri, which will be taking place next weekend in Albert Lea.  This is a small event, with about 200 people expected, so it will be a great opportunity to earn some points in the series!  Check out all the races in the series at:  www.pickleevents.com/trimn

Glacial Lakes Series :  This running series, based out of Central Minnesota, is already well into it’s season with it’s third race in the series coming up on May 24 in Willmar .  Check the series website for information. (www.pickleevents.com/glaciallakes )  2008 standings will be posted next week.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our events this spring!
