The Apple Duathlon is a multisport race held in Sartell MN toward the end of May. The event draws world class competitors with a total of approximately 500 athletes. The event is in its 35th year and has been a favorite race across the nation for many years past. The committee is made of people mainly from the area.
This is a standard short course duathlon: 5k run – 33k bike – 5k run. The start is at Sartell Middle School then leads out through St. Stephen back along the Mississippi River along the River Road.
