1/4 Marathon
The 30th annual The Dump Run Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles), sponsored by Paulbeck’s County Market, takes runners through a scenic course on pavement and gravel road. This nostalgic route takes us by the old dump, past “Smilin’ Jim’s Water Stop” on old 169 and then north on old 169 to Paulback's County Market in Aitkin. Although some consider it challenging, all consider it rewarding to find themselves crossing the finish line. This quarter marathon course is USATF certified.
5K
The Third Annual The Dump Run 5K, sponsored by Paulbeck’s County Market, begins at Paulbeck’s and follows the new city bike trail across a scenic bridge over the Ripple River and through Aitkin’s City Park returning over the same route to the finish line at Paulbeck’s County Market. This 5K course is USATF certified.
